Refer a friend: the rules

Who can join

Anyone with a Budget Bear account, on any plan, including Free. Your personal link is on the Refer a friend page.

What your friend gets

10% off their first subscription payment. It applies once, to the first payment only, and only for a brand-new Budget Bear account that signed up through your link.

What you earn

25% of your friend’s first payment, then 10% of every renewal for as long as they stay subscribed. It is worked out from the normal price, before the friend’s discount and without taxes.

The 30-day hold

Each commission waits 30 days before you can withdraw it. If the payment is refunded in that time, its commission is cancelled. If a refund comes after you were paid, it is taken off your next payout.

Getting paid

Once your available balance reaches the minimum shown on the Refer a friend page, ask for a payout there. We send it by hand to the bank account or e-wallet you give us.

What does not count

Referring yourself, a second account of your own, or someone who already had a Budget Bear account. Each person can be referred only once. We may hold or cancel commission from fake accounts or other abuse.

Privacy

You only see how many people signed up and subscribed, with dates, never their names or email addresses.

Changes

We may change or end the program. Commission you already earned before a change is still paid under the rules at the time.
